    Sadly we only made an overnight stay so saw only a limited amount of the town. Its riverside walks looked beautiful and the old buildings interesting. Much more to xplore in this charming town i am sure.

    The hotel building looks great (sort of small French chateau style) and appears to have been refurbished in recent years. It has a good-sized garden and a swimming pool. Car parking was very secure but there are limited spaces so it's certainly best to book a space in advance. The hotel is situated close to the river, and it's a lovely walk along its banks, and not far from the small town centre. Breakfast was good and nice to have on the hotel's terrace.

    A comfortable room in a great location. We really enjoyed our meal in the restaurant in the courtyard. The room had been kept cool with closed shutters and the windows open but as the weather was exceptionally hot, the electric fan provided was much appreciated. The hotel was very dog friendly too. We enjoyed the fresh croissants for breakfast.

    Beautiful hotel and bedroom was superbly decorated in a traditional style. Shower room was modern, clean and lovely soaps provided. Breakfast was expensive but very good quality and lots of home made jams etc, delicious! Very picturesque situation in town, close to the old bridge across the river.

    I’m sure it’s a great place to stay in the summer but it was 0 degrees and although a radiator in bed and bathroom these hadn’t been put on and it was freezing. The staff were kind and gave us extra bedding 🥶. We had an excellent dinner in the hotel.

    A lovely boutique hotel set in a delightful location. Breakfast was excellent and Newton, the chocolate lab, was a well-behaved and pleasant co-host. Breakfast was excellent.
