Beautiful setting and newly restored historical manor. Extremely well run, great staff to help and accommodate us during our stay. We had 2 meals at the property, both were fantastic. Big, spacious and well decorated rooms - very warm. Secure parking on site - Electric car charging available. Nature all around, peace, quiet and well looked after. Late check out available at extra cost which meant we would enjoy our stay for a bit longer. 2 well behaved and beautiful golden reterivers. Big breakfast, basic yet good quality and loads of options available.

his was a great room in the hotel. Even though it is on a busy road they worked magic with the insulation because we heard absolutly nothing in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel bar was a welcome surprise. We ate at the restaurant and WOW, you have to have their casserole specialty. It is one massive and absolutly delicious feed (hint - don't have an entree if you want to be able to finish the casserole ). Out the back the have secure bike storage and a car park.

    Don't confuse the town of Avignonet-Lauragais (which is...

    Don't confuse the town of Avignonet-Lauragais (which is delightful) with Port Lauragais (which is adequate). The Relais Fasthotel is a 3km walk from the town and quite isolated. My experience of the town itself was limited, but I found it charming, warm, friendly and well worth another visit.
