No expectation because we were just pass-through travelers.
No expectation because we were just pass-through travelers. In fact the old city center is quite nice and they make a visible effort to make it an attractive place (office de tourisme of the region). As in many of the smaller towns in the countryside however it also shows the gentrification. Quite a lot of closed shops and small services that are closed or visibly suffering. Half a day for the town is enough. The surrounding environment however is very nice countryside, looks like great roads for cycling easy hills and also probably nice hiking.Guest review by2871RobNetherlands

It was pouring down with rain when I arrived and the staff were very friendly and helped me to securely park my motorcycle in a nice big garage just opposite the hotel. They even offered to dry my motorcycle gear. I even locked myself out of my room and they were very quick and friendly to help me. I was so tired and disoriented from riding 650 miles in one day. The host was very nice, gave us all de instructions needed. The rom and bed were cozy, nice view of the river and area.
