The receptionist (or better put: hostess) was really welcoming and thoughtfull. Gave all the info that you ll need and also was not hesitent to help out with other questions (in my case: where to eat). Besides that (also very important) the room was really spacious, clean and suited with everthing you ll need. Even an airconditioning that can cool like a fridge.

Stephanie was patiently waiting for me, even though slightly late as per the agreed time. Plus well equipped for a self catering stay. Yes by a main road but I found it amazingly quiet after 11pm and before 8am. A very comfortable apartment.

    A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside...

    A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside Bordeaux. We found the beach to be wonderful, although this area is normally prone to windy and choppy conditions. Great for kite surfing. MY only disappointment was the lack of extensive hiking trails in the forest nearby. There were some good trails heading inland to Biscarosse-Lac, but most trails to the north or south are restricted for the military bases.

    The hotel is a nice modernist building, right on the beach and with many bars, shops and restaurants nearby. My room was very tastefully furnished, impeccably clean and with nice boat-deck style floors. I appreciated the coffee maker. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast tasty.

    A nice small hotel in green area. The room is a bit old fashioned, but has a historic flair. Bed is comfortable and it is very quiet at night. Only 300m to the beach with bars and restaurants. Breakfast was good.

    A really really nice hotel with amazing friendly and helpful staff. Their swimming pool is a real bonus. The attached restaurant is stunningly good, if a little expensive, but we really enjoyed our meal.
