This place has the BEST cheeseboard I've ever seen. I fact if you're eating in the restaurant ask to see the cheeseboard first because you'll want to leave plenty of room Our dogs were welcome in the room and in the restaurant, and the grounds are wonderful for dog walking

It was a real surprise to find at last a low-cost hotel that is comfortable, nestled in the middle of flowering bushes and trees and extremely clean. The staff is also very nice, making breakfast a lovely start of the day. Definitely a place I will come back to when I travel through France -this is a perfect stop-over on my way to the South of France. It is also well located close to motorway and restaurants.

    The Chateau is delightfully eccentric in appearance and...

    The Chateau is delightfully eccentric in appearance and atmosphere. It is hard to describe the overall sensation , suffice it to say it was Delightful. The rooms and public areas are decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture and decorations from near and far. Transporting one back to a bye-gone era. Almost like stepping onto a film set but with more reality. I have British friends who have renovated a Chateau and it became very 'Proper' ,( not a criticism) but this one feels just like 'Home'. If you stay anywhere in the Limoges don't miss this experience. From the delightful and friendly Chatelaine ( ready to share the history and experience of the house ) to wild life, from the Pet Pig Gerard, chickens Cockeral and horses to the amazing Trees that cover the park . And on a very WET and cold May day the rooms were cosy and as warm as the welcome. I cannot find words to praise this house and experience enough.

    Nathalie the owner of the hotel was a wonderful host, she made us feel welcome. I had a great sleep, the rooms were beautiful and the estate is very quiet. If you are in the area I would recommend!!!
