The service was SUPERB ! When I asked them a question about the room I wanted to booked, they immediately responded through email, hence I didn’t hesitate to make a reservation. Our room was in the second floor and the hotel didn’t have elevator. HOWEVER, they helped us carry some of our luggage. They were very kind to my 1 year old, making me feel less anxious. Traveling with a baby can be stressful but they made us feel so welcomed so thank you. Eating at the balcony was a beautiful experience. The food was exceptional and again the service was fantastic. Even though we already checked out, they lent us some umbrellas and when it rained.

    One of the prettiest places I have visited. It looks like it came out of a fairytale. It was wonderful to walk around the village because everything look so pretty. It’s perfect for slow traveling. The products there didn’t seem overpriced, so we bought a lot of nice souvenirs.

    Brantome is an extremely picturesque small town and is a major attraction for tourists, particularly during high season. The varied shops and cafes provide opportunities to browse while the weekly market is a must-see if you are able to visit. The whole town is a network of small streets and bridges to explore with the river, parks and abbey providing photo opportunities at every turn. Visit the top floor of the abbey for spectacular views and an insight into the construction of the building. Great central location for touring the area.

    Brantôme is a lovely little town, great for a day trip or overnight stay. Very picturesque, with plenty to see and do. Good choice of restaurants but they fill up quickly so need to be booked fairly early in the day.

    Beautifully tranquil setting - horses in the field, cats in the garden, a friendly young collie in the house, squirrels - all presided over by the warmest, kindest hostess I have ever met. A large comfortable room, a spacious shower room with plenty of hot water, and a delicious breakfast. The property is an easy drive to Brantôme where there are numerous eating options and well worth a visit or two. We were sorry to leave, but will definitely return. Thank you Anne for your care.

    Superb location. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Good shower in en suite bathroom. Staff were very helpful and gave us good tips for parking which was on street close by. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that or the restaurant. The bar in the hotel looked good but we didn’t use that either as wanted to see the town. The tables and chairs outside the front of the hotel had a lovely outlook over the town and river.

    Julien and Angelique are perfect hosts and ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. Our room had ac which was very welcome. The hotel is perfectly located and we loved relaxing by the swimming pool. Had we not stayed here we probably would not have discovered the restaurant which is superb and we ate there twice
