A beautiful country France stopover, friendly and comfortable. After spending 4 nights in Paris at 34 degrees the pool was a bonus. The restaurant meal was excellent. Thank you for having us.

Charming hotel ideally located in the centre of Briare. Secure parking and easy access. A warm welcome and a beer in the bar at reception. pleasant room and comfy bed and a good breakfast in the morning. I was slightly concerned that there would be no nearby restaurants open on a Sunday night but there were a number nearby - all within a short walk.

A comfortable stay with a very friendly host -a lovely breakfast and freshly baked cakes for our journey.We stayed for one night travelling south and 2 nights travelling north and Regine made us very welcome.We also loved hiring bikes for the day and cycling around Briare and Gien.

Convient for getting to town, pool looked good, site looked good, camping and cabins available (we stayed in a cabin). We could easily store the bikes (x3) by the cabin or on the porch.

    Briare is situated close to the River Loire.

    Briare is situated close to the River Loire. If you visit you must view the aqueduct that carries the canal across the Loire. It was designed by Gustave Eiffel and a magnificent structure. Yes the same engineer who designed the tower named after him. Lovely town with pleasant riversides walks and good restaurants, Try Le Bord d'Eau - great food and wine and a really humorous patron.

    We loved this hotel. Marie-Claire and her husband were so kind and welcoming, it was like staying with family. The loft room is enormous and wonderfully decorated in Moroccan theme. The other rooms are smaller but clean and comfortable. We didn’t have dinner but breakfast was delicious with good coffee and fresh bread. There was secure storage for bikes.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and gave good advice about restaurant recommendations. The room was excellent with comfortable facilities. The off-street, gated, private parking was much appreciated.

    Friendly, accommodating staff who allowed an early entry to the room. Thank you. Situated across from the beautiful aquaduct with shady trees opposite the hotel under which you can sit and have a refreshing drink and something to eat.
