Brioude is a very pleasant small Auvergne town.
Brioude is a very pleasant small Auvergne town. The wonderful very early basilica would compete with the cathedral in Clermont-Ferrand for architectural quality, ancient wall frescoes and atmosphere. There are at least two well reviewed restaurants in town, we will book ahead next time to get a table!
