An excellently managed and well-maintained hotel. The apartments are very spacious and lavishly equipped, including the kitchen. The room furnishings and patio furniture are excellent. The swimming pool (2) is heated and large. Plenty of sun loungers are available. Very attentive and friendly mangement and staff. The Wine bar offers a huge selection of cocktails beer and wine. Interesting that the there is no reception as everything is done online. Domme a picturesk small village has many nice restaurants if you want to go out and not use your own kitchen facilities.

It was pretty amazing being in a refurbished castle. The staff were excellent, everyone we met was so kind and the rooms were impeccably cleaned every day. The pool was an absolute bonus, especially on the hot days we had! Right in the heart of Sarlat too so easy to walk everywhere.

The property and its grounds were stunning. The attention to detail and personalisation was outstanding. The manager of the hotel gave us a tour of the building and grounds with information about its history which was really interesting and added a special touch. We were welcomed with exceptional service (and a complimentary arrival drink) and genuinely felt like nothing was too much for the staff. The room was decorated to perfection and had everything you’d think of needing. You have personal use of the spa area by giving a little notice which is something we’ve never had before. The grounds, decor, staff and breakfast were all perfect and genuinely can’t be faulted. We can’t wait to stay again in summer!

A convenient location just five minutes from St Cyprien. Although close to a busy road we heard no traffic noise from our room or the pool area. The property is in quite a central location for exploring the Dordogne by car. Christoph and Marina are very amenable hosts, whose intention was obviously to make our stay totally enjoyable. We had a very nice lunch at their restaurant, and while we didn’t use this service lighter meals (which looked nice and of generous size) were delivered to some other guests. The bed was amazing, the most comfortable bed I have slept in on several overseas trips!

    The host was very welcoming and gave us a guided tour of the site. The facilities were excellent and the property perfect for our needs. We visited the Château and took a boat trip along the Dordogne followed by a climb up to Le Fort de Roque-Gageac. There were so many more places we would have visited if we had more time.

    We loved staying here. The room and gardens were beautiful. Our hosts couldn't have been better. They were very friendly and helpful. They made reservations for us at 3 very nice restaurants. The recommendations were extremely helpful since we have not been to this area before. Breakfasts were delicious. We could eat in a cozy dining room or outside in the garden. There is a large swimming pool but the weather was too cool to use it. Rooms were a good size and mattress was very comfortable. The shower is the largest one I have ever used. We loved it.

    OUR STAY IN Castelnaud La Chapelle could NOT have been more enjoyable. The boutique hotel LA TOUR DE CAUSE is just splendide. The host he & her cannot be more friendly and helpful. Le rooms is adorable super clean and most pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and superb. We will be back!!! AND TELL EVERYONE! A parking would really complete the experience,The only thing missing but not a great deal!. DO NOT miss to visit JOSEPHINE BAKER CASTLE! Jean-Francis Mots
