The room was very modern, had obviously recently been redecorated and was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area so no noise at night and no lights coming into the room as there was shutters for the windows. The staff were very friendly and helpful, a great place to stop before heading to Calais to catch Le Shuttle.

    This was an extremely friendly and well-run establishment.

    This was an extremely friendly and well-run establishment. It was almost a secret reveal behind large wooden gates down a side street. The proprietor, Germain, was very affable and had a calm and relaxed manner about him. The themed room we stayed in (the Champagne room), was spacious, clean and tastefully yet simply decorated. The bathroom was also quite large and well maintained with modern and tasteful facilities. The room was in character of the surrounding building. There was a communal eating area which we used just for breakfast as we went into Reims in the afternoon and evening. Breakfast was also of a very good standard. After travelling many hours on the road, and then to come across this resting place was so rewarding for us. A perfect location for us, perhaps a little too far out of Reims for some people as you definitely need to drive or taxi in.
