I stayed for 2 nights and wished I had booked for longer. Lovely location and not far from all the amenities. My host was so kind, a lovely lady and made sure that everything was fine for my stay. Will definitely stay again

Host Grégoire-so nice and friendly. Lovely family with lots of animals, cat, chickens and rabbit!! He was so accommodating to us. When we arrived he was out and so we went to the pub for 1 drink. He knew we were travelling on small motorbikes and he also got a few calls from the neighbours as they were a bit unusual. Before we got back to check in, he had moved items around in his locked garage and allowed us to park the motorbikes in there. House-beautiful old house that has been renovated in the village. Only a small walk to the main st, with shops, pubs, lovely Italian restaurant and multiple other restaurants and of course the beautiful castle. Room-our room had a view of the castle and the garden, very nice indeed. Big bedroom with a kitchen area off that and then a big shower room after. Kitchen area had everything you would need if you wanted to stay a few days and eat in the room. Breakfast-more than enough food, we struggled to finish. Beautiful bread, croissant, etc. but the jams were delicious and all home made (his mom, neighbour and his own) and also homemade apple juice!!

Chris and Tracey were amazing, they contacted me before my stay to say local restaurants were closed on Mondays and would I like a meal and small dessert for a minimal fee which I jumped at the chance of. the meal was amazing and Chris and Tracey were really friendly and happy to chat about the house and how long they had been in France. Room was huge with a great big bathroom too! I had a fantastic nights sleep - everything was perfect

    My work takes me all over France and Spain in the main, and therefore I stay in many hotels; some good and some not so good. I hardly ever write a review after a stay, however, on this occasion, I could not help myself. I had an exceptional roomy apartment, all on one floor and at a reasonable price. Long may that continue. Complaint - yes, but that was not the fault of the hotel, but that of Booking,com. On booking, they should have advised me that this particular hotel only accepts cash as payment. It meant I had to go find an ATM - not always easy with a 35 cwt van!
