    Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean . Dinner and Breakfast were excellent. The manager was extremely helpful when our group arrived and needed to store our bikes, even though he was busy checking other people in etc. This hotel was perfect for an overnight stay and we appreciated the secure storage for our bikes.

    A beautiful little town, with a fabulous historic Chateau.

    A beautiful little town, with a fabulous historic Chateau. You can download a self guided tour map and look around the chateau for free, 7 days a week, or for 3 euros have a guided tour. It is a good base for walking and cycling in the surrounding areas and the tram service provides a regular service into Nantes

    We liked the location of the hotel, but found it a little...

    We liked the location of the hotel, but found it a little soulless. The staff were very polite but did not interact. Chateaubriant itself was disappointing because so much of the town shops, services and restaurant were either closed or on limited opening. Arriving on a Sunday mid-afternoon the place was deserted and the only eating options were McDonalds or Dominos, neither of which we would contemplate.

    A beautiful property in a wonderful setting. Our room was very comfortable with a bonus of a separate dressing room in the attached tower. We walked and sat in the grounds in the afternoon, enjoying the peacefulness and admiring the mature trees and the beautiful hotel building. We had cocktails in the bar that evening and a wonderful meal in the restaurant and after which we returned to the bar and shared a great evening with other guests. All of the staff were very friendly, cheerful and attentive. We would definitely return again.

    Very convenient location for exploring Chateaubriant by foot. Very clean, tidy and smart apartment. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchenette ergonomic which came with bread and jam supplied by the owner.
