The host was very friendly and helpful finding us a restaurant on the night the opposite restaurant was closed. On Sunday many restaurants are closed so itwas quite challenging finding a place. Surroundings are lovely-the loire is within walking distance and the little village has a nice feel to it. Breakfast was very fresh-simple but it felt ‘cosy like a french kitchen area’ with coffee, fruit and fresh bread cheeses and yoghurts.

Everything was exceptional. The accommodation was a recently renovated farm building filled with historic charm and ambience with all the modern conveniences. The room was a total suite with comfortable lounge seating area, wood burning stove/fireplace, x-large TV, beautiful views. The garden areas were exquisite, host was wonderful, food was excellent!

We had a wonderful night’s stay here. Our host Frederic met us and gave a wonderful introduction to this lovely apartment. It was well supplied, with lots of extras! ( chocolate and Madeleines) It was a quiet location , a little out of the way but well worth it! Book this place- you won’t regret it

Unexpected gem in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire. The outside of the property is deceptive: once the owner lets you in, you will discover an amazing garden with pool, and an old house full of history and interesting objects. Ideal for families: we had adjoining rooms with a bathroom. The breakfast was amazing - pastries warmed in the oven, homemade peach jam; even the yoghurt was homemade. We went out for dinner and had really good pizza. This is a great place to stay if you’re driving the length of France and want to stop overnight.
