We just spent a wonderful two days at Château de Monsac in the Dordogne. It’s a beautifully restored historic building that has been renovated sympathetically by the hosts, over decades. Everywhere you look, says “labour of love” and we were impressed with so many little details. Fabienne and Frédéric are warm and attentive hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Their service was intuitive and we appreciated their local knowledge and advice on exploring the Dordogne. We recommend having the breakfast which included fresh flaky pastries, homemade granola, jams and freshly squeezed orange juice. Our dog Maisy was made welcome and the Talbot room worked perfectly for us with its two outside terraces.

Lovely property ! Very clean, comfy and quite large. Our hosts , as a last minute request, made us the most gorgeous, beautifully presented ham and cheese salad, fit for a banquet. They couldn’t do enough for us - lovely people ! The best stay of our holiday for sure , thoroughly recommend !

Beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful owner. Nice place to tour around or stay by the swimming pool. Was lovely being able to eat outside and make barbecues. Each bungalow is made to keep privacy with others

Spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely, bathroom nice and modern. Bed is massive! There’s good fans and mosquito nets so you can have a cool and bug free night. Marielle is absolutely lovely and so helpful, I felt really comfortable right away. I don’t think I have ever had such a friendly host. If I ever need a place to stay in the area, I will definitely book here again.

Superb country stay. So many amenities available. The pool with its own little pool house and pool towels for your use. When you travel a long way the last thing you want weighing down your luggage is pool towels. Superb breakfast, such abundance. Such friendly people. Loved my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Elegance. The interior design is truly unique - stylish, full of character, and carefully thought out in every detail. My room was very large, with a super comfortable bed and a separate bath, offering plenty of space to relax. The whole place is peaceful and quiet, perfect for switching off and unwinding. The garden is absolutely beautiful, with lovely spots to sit in the sun and enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. It really adds to the charm of the villa. The hosts, Jeremie and his wife, are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. They speak excellent English and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
