You can't go wrong here, it's close to Lyon yet in the heart of wine country you can go cheap if you choose to shop only at Carrefour or Leclerc, or you can go big at Beau Rivage, Bellevue or Chez Henrioux in Vienne. Their restaurant is fine dining with a sumptuous 4 course lunch or dinner available. Excellent service, knowledgeable sommeliers and attentive waiters, and outstanding dining. Breakfast very good. Comfortable rooms. outstanding cuisine and parking for the duration (at a cost). We were lucky enough to be able to dine out in the garden with views of the Rhone. Would definitely stay again.
