I ‘ve probably had 2000 nights at different hotels throughout the world. Ecrin Blanc left a very very strong and positive impression and I listed it in my TOP 10 hotels. Staff, cleanliness, location, breakfast, hospitality… all top class! Well done to the management and all staff I interacted with. Well done. We really liked the location of the hotel, with direct access from the lobby to the city center. The hotel lobby was spacious and vibrant, creating a great first impression. The staff at the ski room and concierge were extremely friendly and accommodating, as were the drivers who took us around the city. Their professionalism and helpfulness added to the overall experience, making our stay even more enjoyable

    i would not stay in this hotel as they are fake and not helpful. they keep on saying we are sorry and than they dont do anything about it. and becareful when you use their concierge service, they charge you %5 for every charge and the ski instructors they find charge you whatever they feel like even though you stay with them for 3 hours, dont invite them to lunch as we did, he charged us for his time and the hotel didnt do anything about it.

    A brilliant ski area with lots of options and levels of runs and easy to ski throughout. Good bus service to access other areas if you don't want to ski and/or for the evenings. Nice amount of bars/shops to explore.

    I stayed at La Tania, a village outside Courchevel but part of the full ski area. Cheaper and smaller than the main town, with great runs back down to it from the Courchevel village valley. Ideal for a more cost conscious stay. However, it is at one extremity of the region, so it's a long slog to get across to explore the other end of The 3 Valleys and get back again.

    Overall we believe the location cost is Overrated and way to expensive. The city overall looks rundown, the buildings had seen better days. The sidewalk were full of ice. It should have been cleaned. Prices are not in line with the services. Highly Overrated. The "old look" of the wood is obtained by lack of maintenance and literally bad wood and also the roads are full of holes ... and cracks. I don't mind to pay but at least lets get the price in line with the quality.

    Courchevel 1850 is renowned for its exclusive shops and restaurants but it is not for the faint-hearted in terms of costs! L'aventure restaurant is to be avoided: overpriced, bad food, poor service; we ordered a side of mashed potatoes but the waiter failed to tell us that the dish already came with mashed potatoes as a side! Starters were almost inedible, mains tasty but cold. Small details big difference to the enjoyment factor, especially when you're paying top dollar. Le Chalet des Pierres on the slopes is lovely with a great atmostphere and excellent service.

    Wonderfully situated. Beautiful location. Out of town, but only 3 minutes by car to village and shops with easy parking. 3-5 minutes walk to piste, ski in ski out. Appartement clean and spacious. One double room and one room with one single and one double bed. Kitchen very well equipped with large fridge and plenty of good pots and plates We went back, having stayed there last year already. Lake around back worth a visit. Hosts live in same complex and are super friendly.

    Well used to staying at four and five star ski hotels and Ecrin Blanc was excellent. The staff were superb and the facilities for all but especially children were fantastic- we will be back (the valet staff in particular were excellent)
