We stayed only one night on our roadtrip and it was wonderful. The hosts were really attentive and the house is really cute. It is small but the space is well used. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. I had no real expectations for the surroundings but the village is very cute and well kept. There are views of a chateau from the road and a baguette vending machine with fresh bread to buy in the morning. Supermarket is a short drive away. The roads leading to the village are also in excellent condition. Would love to stay here again.

    There’s not much in Cussay itself but it’s ideal if you want...

    There’s not much in Cussay itself but it’s ideal if you want to spend a few quiet days relaxing in the countryside. Lovely town of Loches is only about 20 minutes away and Chateau of Chenonceau and Ambois about 75 minutes.

    we booked this accommodation as we wanted somewhere that had a pool so we can take our 9 month old swimming while we were in France for a wedding. Kati & Jean-Luc who own the property and grounds are just amazing hosts you could not ask for more. They made us amazing breakfast every morning, they both are so accommodating, kind and just beautiful people. When we arrived they gave us a piece of paper with all different restaurants, activities etc with what area they are were in, how to get there and the distance to the venue. We stayed 4 days and it just felt like home because of the way Kati & Jean are loving and out going people. I will defo be back again and can’t, if you have the opportunity to stay here I would book on immediately. Thank you so much again Kati & Jean
