The staff at the hotel are happy and very helpful. The evening receptionist (perhaps owner?) recommended a local restaurant to us and made the reservation for us and the restaurant was excellent. It was Chez Germaine at Geronce. We had a very enjoyable stay at Le Commerce and our little dog was welcomed too and a water-bowl provided for her.

    Dognen is a small, quiet agricultural village, but it is easy to drive to amenities and things to do. There is a basketball court in the village and a river (with an otter). Prefect place for a peaceful holiday.
