Nice, comfortable hotel, good included breakfast. It's a fairly new hotel, good size rooms, station across the road. We used it to travel to the Palace of Versailles...50 minutes by train, which runs on the hour. Really coudn't fault it, good value for money.

The hotel was undergoing a refurbishment. Our rooms were exceptional, Modern, clean, fresh with all expected facilities including Tea and coffee making. Lovely shower room. The best thing was the onsite restaurant. After a 9 hour drive up from the med we were expecting to have to go and find a restaurant. No Need we were able to sit and have a relaxing drink and choose from two dishes. Fish and chips or Mexican Chicken. All we needed after a long drive. Most welcome.

Both of the young male receptionists were very helpful and charming, especially the one who checked me in. I hope get gets to visit the UK soon! 😊 The room was basic but spotlessly clean and provided everything I needed for a great night's sleep. And the shower was super and easy to use, even though it was ultra modern. This can often be a challenge for an "older person", figuring out how to turn on the flipping shower. Breakfast was excellent value for money. Plenty on offer. I had two cappuccinos. My only "issue" was that I only saw the name Kyriad after I'd parked up and walked to the entrance! And yes, free parking was a bonus....

    This is a really charming and lovely town with much to recommend it, but for me it was the museum...while small it has some exquisite treasures. I went to Dreux to see the four Romanesque capitals in the museum collection and they did not disappoint! And there were some other unexpected surprises there, too. Highly recommend a visit to Dreux.

    I live in Evesham which is the twin town of Dreux and the Campanile hotel does not show the town of Dreux in a favourable light. The hotel and its staff are merely adequate and the restaurant facilities abysmal. On our visit on Monday the 15th May the restaurant was open but the food was not of a quality one would expect and staff were smoking, this is unacceptable. We had already booked for Thursday the 18th and decided to overlook our concerns and return, unfortunately when we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed whilst the staff were enjoying a barbecue on the terrace and again smoking in the restaurant area. I would have thought that we might have been informed of the closure on our previous visit. Whilst this hotel is in a convenient location I am afraid we will not be returning.

    Dreux has some interesting historical buildings but it's...

    Dreux has some interesting historical buildings but it's beauty is in its people. They were ALL really friendly and went out of their way to help me. I was walking into the city from the GR22 and got lost, asked a man the way, and he stopped what he was doing and drove me to Centreville. Another man showed me where the Office of Tourism was. The man at the train station was friendly and funny. I really loved Dreux. It also has a great range of shops. The cemetery is very interesting.

    It is a suitable hotel for a short stay.

    It is a suitable hotel for a short stay. The internet is good. The location is good, as it has a shopping center that you can walk to. Staff are polite. Breakfast is reasonable for the price they charge, but the place is clean. Unfortunately, the shower water was cold because the shower didn't work and the doors to the other rooms slammed all the time. Lots of cigarette smell.

    Dreux is not really a tourist town.

    Dreux is not really a tourist town. Hotel is not in the best of areas, as an place to stay enroute it was fine when it was built, we stayed there a few years ago when it was newer, but it has aged badly and had no money spent on it and has fallen behind current Premier Classe and other hotels competing in this sector

    It is possible that there was some confusion about my arrival time but the Normandy did not meet any of expectations of a central town French hotel. I arrived at 5pm ther were no staff present , the building was locked . The main reception area was closed and full of building material. A notice on the door directed me to another entrance which was locked . The building did not look like any functioning hotel which I have seen. Typed notices on the doors offered rooms at prices even lower than what I paid . I drove on.0⁰

    Excellent location with a number of resteraunts within walking distance. The Chinese buffet opposite was truly excellent. The breakfast was the best of my whole tour (12 hotels) with scrambled eggs & bacon as well as standard continental fayre. Recommend this chain in France

    Just what I wanted for an overnight journey break. Easily accessible on the outskirt of town. Great parking and very secure. Clean, comfy hotel. £ restaurants within walking distance. I ate at La Boucherie. Standard French fare done well.
