Communication prior to arrival was excellent, and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by two members of the team with big smiles! 😃 We stayed in room Chardonnay, which was tastefully decorated, bright and spacious with a large comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was large with a decent shower (not always the case) and complementary toiletries. The air conditioning was welcomed as it was warm during our stay. There was a machine in the room for coffee and tea. And a fridge in the dining room stocked with extras, e.g, cold drinks, was available for an additional small charge. Continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful. With a selection of fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, yougurt pastries, etc. 😋 The hotel is ideally situated only 2 minutes walk from the centre. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you, team Hotel du Palais.

Super hotel. Excellent location in GC. Beautiful pool overlooking the vines.     It was mainly a layover as we wended through Le Gran Crus Route and surrounding areas. We were turned away from the hotel at 3:15 pm (even though we'd indicated on Booking.com that we'd be there at around 3) saying they didn't open until 4:30. Since we had time to wait we went down the street to Cave LaFrance and had a delightful experience with the wine-cellar-seller. Tasted and bought some great wine at a good price. He was a neat character and made our trip to Fixin worth it!
