the room is very pretty, with lots of blue-white decorations. there are two pools, one warm and one cold. the location is convenient and pretty. it has a view of the mountains and is close to the small village below, where you can eat. Marco is the best host, really funny and nice. when we left the hotel he gave us a bag of croissants to feed the pigeons.

Very friendly Host and a great place to spend a couple of days. The House is located outside the Towncenter but it is only a 15min walk so you can easely leave your car at the House. The walk up the hill through the forest and to the castle is a bit longer but also very worthwhile.

After several visits for lunches and dinners in the last years our expectations regarding a short stay there on our way down to the coast were high, but have definitely been exceeded by the level of excellence this hotel offers in every regard.     We have visited Fontaine many times in September and this...

    We have visited Fontaine many times in September and this was the most disappointing in some ways. Many of the shops were closed, either permanently or part-time, and the major restaurant on the river side and several others were closed - for the first time for us. Despite this the river is magical in its movement and colour. Still well worth a visit.

Explore the source of the Sorgue River, a place of rushing rapids and hidden power. Above the village, a majestic old fortress awaits discovery.

    As long as you are not traveling in the high season Fontaine...

    As long as you are not traveling in the high season Fontaine-de-Vaucluse is a great base for discovering most of the Provence high lights. Don't miss the great Restaurant in the Towncenter directly on the river.

    What an absolutely beautiful experience staying at this gorgeous accommodation in the centre of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. It had everything we needed. The view was incredible out our window of the spring. We definitely recommend staying here. The host was helpful. The accommodation is perfectly appointed and the town is so magical !
