On opening the front door, this huge, beautifully renovated and appointed apartment far exceeded our expectations. The sheer size of the apartment was so unexpected. It was huge and even though there were only the 2 of us, it was great value for money. We loved its modern facilities like the brand new kitchen, the washing machine and the dishwasher but it still had lots of charm and warmth from the exposed walls and wooden floors. All the thoughtful extras were a lovely touch too. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot just around the corner, although a small car would definitely fit through the front garage doors and park easily in the huge vacant area on the ground floor of the building (ours didn't fit through the doors although the owner offered the space as "free private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed)".

Easy parking outside the front and the hostess was punctual and very charming. The kitchen 100% fully equipped with all gadgets imaginable . Not that we needed any but the coffee percolator! Very compact space. Quiet street. We liked the apartment. Had a good feel but perhaps not full zen.

    The hotel is situated in Gourette with beautiful views all around. The welcome was exceptional, very professional and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. The meal in the restaurant was amazing. Great fresh food beautifully cooked and presented. The breakfast was well worth the 13 euros , great viennoiseries, bread cheese and ham freshly squeezed orange juice and good quality tea.

    This was my favourite stay at any hotel during my 2 week motorcycle trip, they were so friendly and made me feel almost part of the family, I was the only englishman in the hotel and I was made very welcome by the staff and guests. The hotel was warm and cozy. and in a fantastic location
