Behind a modest doorway, you find a grand old dame of a town mansion that has been sensitively restored and modernised. The history of the building includes the facts that Louis XIV stayed in it on his way to meet his Spanish bride and that it was home to a dynasty of French High Justices. The owners are a wonderful and genuinely friendly couple who made the stay truly fantastic. The rooms have been furnished with stunning antique show pieces while the amenities such as TV, shower, coffee maker, wifii etc were fully modern and top quality. Our room was decorated like a masterpiece work of art, and included a lovely bookcase with books in French and English, a real bonus for a bookworm like me. Breakfast was superb every morning and we were spoiled with many delicious choices of continental breakfast foods. It is also a short walk to the centre of town which has several restaurants to choose from.

A duplex apartment in very good condition. Newly renovated, modern and comfortable. Kitchen and dining area downstairs. Kitchen already supplied with coffee pads, teabags, salt & pepper, some sweets etc. etc. all the things that you need but don't want to buy for just a short stay.
