I suspect most people do not realize just how stunning the...
I suspect most people do not realize just how stunning the countryside is. This a great place to drive into the hills, go to wineries for tastings, have a picnic at a park onto top of one of the viewpoints. The local restaurants are high end if you wish, or you can eat more casually. Lovely building and gardens (with small pool), wonderful couple who run it and great breakfast. Only slight downside was we arrived late and there is no restaurant but the helpful man who runs the hotel arranged for us to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Clean, comfortable, especially the beds and bedlinen, and very good self service breakfast. What sets it apart in particular are the owners for whom no request is too much.
