Some of our family were also in the hotel and Madame Massonde made us all very welcome and was extremely accommodating with regard to numbers eating together, timing etc. Breakfast was freshly made and home produce made it even better. Basic but perfectly adequate facilities for a comfortable long stay. Nearby shops, including a supermarket 10 minutes walk away and a Lidl 5 minutes drive. Our rooms in the main hotel building were huge, stylish and relaxing.. Very comfy bed, wonderful outlook over the countryside towards Pau, and beyond. Lovely grounds and pool. Fantastic views over Pau and the Pyrenees and the grounds were beautiful. We ate at the hotel, and I am still smiling. Food was fine dining and worth every penny. The pear soufflé was to die for.
