Super comfortable beds, lovely decor, very friendly staff/owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Car parking close by which was free for our stay (late sept). Nice continental breakfast.

Location, incredibly close to the beach! Nice house, refined breakfast, calm. Great host Christina was lovely and friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable surrounding area . We did enjoy the stay and we feel like home to home. We will be back again.

The house was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the garden, and the jacuzzi, and the location was excellent. Wonderful covered market and good shops. Couarde has the best beaches (we explored many others on the island) and they were a 5 minute walk from our door. Tennis club looked very nice too.

it's like being home when far away from home. nicely arranged with an excellent taste, fully equipped, really just 3 min walking distance from the beach, 2 min from the market, but also from Carrefour, cinema is in the next building (in case it rains). would stay there again.

The decor and settings of this hotel were stunning. Beautiful tasteful furnishings, select and interesting little places to sit, wonderful foliage and courtyard. It was extremely restful and welcoming and a real pleasure to return to each day.

From the moment we arrived to our departure, the staff was extremely warm and friendly. The hotel is perfectly located on the harbor and we had a splendid view of the harbor from our windows. The room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, including the terrific mattress for a good night's sleep. It had a nice sitting area for reading and watching the news. The bathroom was large and supplied with Chopard amenities. The adjacent restaurant George's serves a very nice breakfast and a wonderful dinner.

    We had a dog with us so I think the room availability was limited. The room was disappointing, a bit dark and small, the bed not very comfortable. A good location in the middle of the village, close to restaurants and parking. The lack of tapas was disappointing as we were only able to eat at the hotel on 1 night.

    Fantastic town with a good choice of restaurants.

    Fantastic town with a good choice of restaurants. Bustling cafe culture. Wonderful long golden sandy beaches which weren't crowded. Watersports center. The who island is crisscrossed with cycle paths and everyone uses bikes to go from one coastal village to the next. You cycle through salt marshes and oyster farms to visit wonderful harbours or lighthouses stopping along the way to sample local produce or browse the markets.

    This property has been beautifully designed and its location was ideal for us on the outskirts of the charming seaside village of La Couarde-sur-Mer. We arrived by plane to LaRochelle airport, taxi to property and for the rest of the week we used only bicycles (which were waiting for us in the garage). Kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the kitchen is well equipped. Fantastic villa near charming village, beautiful beach, excellent market and great restaurants.

    A big plus for us was the availability of a parking place. The hotel's parking is quite big and in close proximity. Hotel lobby and the rooms are nicely decorated, creating a relaxing ambiance. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel is very well located close to the beach and restaurants and bars are just meters away from the entrance. Breakfast was also a nice experience. Overall, a very pleasant stay and hopefully we will return again soon.

    Exceptionally friendly people who work there. Lady on reception (Silvia) was so nice and helpful. The whole hotel was decorated in a very fancy way. Breakfast was from fresh and tasty ingredients. Hotel exterior was very cozy.
