Everything about the property was lovely, especially if you are a history enthusiast. The attention to detail to the decor was beautiful. Béatrice was a lovely host and we had a nice chat through google translate. The breakfast was perfect… the best ever French toast /pain- perdu I’ve ever had. Even the sweet welcome from the little black cat was lovely.

Lovely little house. Pool and garden very nice. Bed very comfy and had all things you need in kitchen. plus good wifi and TV. Owner was super helpful and even offered to drive us to our pickup point for a wedding we were attending. She was very attentive and easy to get hold of and solved any issues promptly.

Fantastic place to stay in the countryside overlooking the landscape and the cities of Lectoure and Fleurance at the horizon. Offered all the views of the pleasant northern Gers country. Large swimming pool overlooking the hills, very well equipped rooms with large showers and spacious, too. The hosts were very sweet, welcoming and forthcoming arranging for two excellent rooms next to one another, we traveled as a party of four. Great breakfast overlooking the garden. A small road leads up to the large house. Only 15 minutes drive to Lectoure and very nice restaurants such as L'Atelier Gourmand were we went in the evening, fabulous meal. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute of it and again the host Daisy took very good care of us. There are three very social and nice dogs that greeted us as we arrived, hanging around in the garden. Can strongly recommend an extended stay at La Canners, we will certainly return when we have the opportunity!

The highlight has to be the lovely chapel of Carmel when the...

The highlight has to be the lovely chapel of Carmel when the nuns are singing their office every day. Such a peaceful, spiritual experience. The people of the town also seemed to welcome the hundreds of pilgrims passing through on their way towards Compostella. The cathedral church is also lovely. The Restaurants were excellent, the main street lively, especially on Friday - Market day. The views from the Bastion were stunning - especially on a clear day when you can see the Pyrenees
