I ‘ve probably had 2000 nights at different hotels throughout the world. Ecrin Blanc left a very very strong and positive impression and I listed it in my TOP 10 hotels. Staff, cleanliness, location, breakfast, hospitality… all top class! Well done to the management and all staff I interacted with. Well done. All of the staff went above and beyond, consistently good service, helpful and polite. The team helping guests with their skis and equipment were brilliant, it made the whole trip effortless which is exactly what you want and need after a day on the slopes. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Meribel centre and ski lifts to ski in/out of the hotel. Massages at the spa were excellent. The concierge service was amazing, they managed last minute dinner reservations and suggested some great restaurants. We found the shuttle service super helpful and never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to be dropped off or collected. The beds were really comfy, luxurious toiletries and thoughtful extras in the room. We were really impressed and loved every minute of our stay, it's a true 5* hotel, we will be back!

I liked the location, room was big and nicely decorated, breakfast was exceptional, always fresh and with large selection of food for every taste. Separately I must admit that reception staff are real professionals: very friendly, always smiling and ready to help. Same compliment goes to young lad at ski storage room.

Everything. The staff were amazing. Were arrived late and hadn't booked a meal but they went out of their way to feed us a full 3 course meal which included a beer, a large beer. The rooms were clean and spacious, beds very comfortable and the view was second to few.

Our stay at Hotel du Bourg in Valmorel over Christmas and New Year’s was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind, making us feel right at home. Their warmth and attention to detail really made a lasting impression. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the ski lifts and close to the charming town of Valmorel. After a day on the slopes, the cozy pub was the perfect place to unwind, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Hotel du Bourg offers excellent service, a great location, and a warm atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable skiing holiday in Valmorel.

    Meribel Motteret.

    Meribel Motteret. Absolutely brilliant for easy easy access to the main lift / ski school and 3 Valleys - three options. Motteret is ideal for yong families, although Meribel Centre might be more fun for much older teenagers / 20+ as more evening events / bars etc, but still a good few bars / pubs and nightclub options.

    The location is not directly on the ski slope . With a small transport lift You can reach most of local restaurants and shops. It is secluded and quiet place. Snowfall could complicate coming by car without snowchains. Absolutely not suitable for handicapped peole. Nice for families .

    Trois Vallee is huge - 6 days of hard skiing and we still didn't see it all. Like any ski resort, you're at the mercy of the conditions - on average for us they were good with one day of fresh 15 cm and one day of fog so impenetrable it gave you vertigo.

    If you wanna go skiing in The 3 Valleys but want a bit more...

    If you wanna go skiing in The 3 Valleys but want a bit more than just the Val Thorens partying and best in the world skiing, then Meribel Centre is the place for you (We can't always stay in our late teens and early twenties). From here you can reach both Val Thorens and Courchevel easily to get the full value of The 3 Valleys.

    Les Allues has fantastic scenery and a variety of outdoor activities during the summer months. A destination to be enjoyed all year round! The local shops run restricted hours during the summer months, but still providing excellent fresh bread and charcuterie, plus all the essentials! Close to Meribel, with great restaurants, our favorites being Barometer and Le Terrace Brasserie in Meribel Village. We definitely plan to return in order to experience the snow!
