This is a very unusual location at first sight, the road is busy and relatively unassuming in looks, however we stayed in a top of this large house apartment with its' own terrace with views above of the old chateau and opposite direction to the river Seine, we caught this on a spring day sunset and it was lovely. The attention to design detail and the quality of fixtures and fittings is clearly evident and much appreciated. Our lady host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and served in a charming room in the main house, all in all a little gem and if in the area will certainly look forward to returning . The only caveat (unless we somehow missed it) was there was no air conditioning, which was a great surprise considering the overall quality of this apartment and as a loft room would be very warm in the summer months!

This is a beautiful B&B in a perfect location. The hosts Bruno and Laurent were very friendly and made us very welcome. The room was lovely, and the bed was extremely comfortable. They gave us pre-dinner drinks and canapés, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We could not rate this place and the hosts highly enough. Please stay here if you are visiting Les Andelys.

Charming hotel in a romantic setting on the banks of the Seine set in a lovely village. Had a very nice dinner in their delightful garden overlooking the river. It doesn't get better than that! Large room, tastefully decorated with excellent shower/bathroom. Generous buffet breakfast. Hosts were very accommodating. Chateau Gaillard in walking distance. Highly recommend!

A pleasant and historic town in an excellent location beside the River Seine. Well worth a visit or short stay in this very scenic part of the countryside. A nice selection of restaurants and riverside walks. The famous castle Chateau Gaillard is accessible above the town.

Lovely village resting on the Seine.

Lovely village resting on the Seine. It does take time and effort to get to by train and bus. If you are interested in history the Chateau Gaillard is worth the trip. It is also a good idea to do your homework before coming and to know the train and bus timetables. There is a really helpful Tourism centre who can answer your question once you arrive.

Nothing. Refused entry to property. Phone number off accomodation not working. No email contact on website Told by another person on site it was an "air b & b" Taxi driver I was with spoke french so communicated With those on site. Another person told us 'you,'re joking",asked to leave site. No hotel sign or name on site, locals said it was private house. Taxi driver helped me find alternative hotel.

The location was very pretty in a delightful spot right on the river Seine, in a pretty village, with beautiful historical buildings. The house itself was an old hotel with so much history. There are plenty of activities such as walking, cycling, exploring the village and the castle or just enjoy the garden. We enjoyed dinner there after a long day on the road.
