The Gîte itself is just so beautiful and rustic, exactly as per the photos and so cosy and warm, the pellet burner was just perfect for this time of year (December). The owners were the friendliest and most helpful people you could ask for. We had travel issues (delays on the Euro Tunnel) and then problems with our car (puncture), which caused us long delays, however, we kept them informed and they were so understanding and very helpful, we could not have asked for more.

Lovely peaceful scenic location close to the medieval town of domfront. Everything you could need is provided for with lots of get tips for surrounding areas and in particular things off the beaten track which proved to be a highlight of our trip!

The region is simply breathtakingly beautiful. From one bend in the road to the next, you're stunned with views of rolling hills, forest and the quaintest farm houses and villages. The accommodation was spot on. Not only was the room beautifully decorated and well appointed, but our hosts were exceptional.     Beautiful little village, very picturesque and some lovely...

    Beautiful little village, very picturesque and some lovely places to visit nearby (we had our car, so easy enough to travel). Domfront is great for a few local shops, cafes, restaurants, boulangerie etc... Fosse Arthour is certainly worth a visit, scenic little walks and a wonderful restaurant, well recommended. For those travelling around Christmas time, a visit to see the lights at Beauchene is a must - just wonderful!
