I received a phone call from the host as I finally reached the top of my long climb into the Ardèche during a long distance cycle race. Enquiring as to when I would arrive. I explained my fatigue and that it might take some time. I was assured that this was not a problem. On arrival I was greeted very warmly, shown my room and invited to dine too. During my whole 9 day, 2700km trip this was the only time I felt I just had to stay for breakfast, so kind were my hosts. The location is truly spectacular. By night the sense of peace and tranquility is extraordinary.

Wonderful to find good accommodation that welcomed my dog with the additional bonus of a truly exceptional evening meal. It's a fabulous setting way up a tiny road above the village. The family are wonderful...3 kids ,one beautiful friendly dog and cats. It's the back to nature dream. There's a little stream just below and trees trees trees. Food is superb, prepared by Batiste. Bed was comfortable.

Beautiful little Chalet would highly recommend this place if you want to get away from it all. Very relaxing the host was lovely and very helpful, nearest supermarket is around 20 minutes and the ride/ drive is stunning.
