Exceptional dining in charming surroundings. Several generations of the same family have run this well established hotel. Such a good location : within easy reach of nearby Cahors ( wine, shops, historic buildings) and interesting trips both East or West along the river valleys. The scenery is stunning! The pretty village of Vers is itself worth exploration. The entire staff team are friendly and welcoming. There is an outdoor pool and a lovely terrace - so a summer visit here would be fun. Also a spa - all these facilities are available for guests - we have yet to enjoy them!

    Very quiet and peaceful.

    Very quiet and peaceful. Quite hilly (for those thinking of hiking/cycling). It really was a get away from it all. We didn't have much time to get out and about beyond where we stayed but it's not far from Cahors which is a lovely medieval city. You need a car - it's very rural. Lots more to come back and explore another time and the host would be really helpful with ideas for that. There are some beautiful rivers and a lake nearby.
