The Fortress is a must-see.
The Fortress is a must-see. We only discovered it by accident, but had we been there longer, would have planned for a full day visit. You can partake in various ancient traditions and have great souvenirs from your trip with something you made yourself. Great for kids or adults. There are translations in other languages available in case you don't understand fluent French. We made ourselves at home and were sad to leave this location. We explored the surrounding Chateau’s in the mornings and then spent each afternoon by the swimming pool until dinner. The main restaurant is fine dining with French cuisine. The rooms on that floor are really not suitable as hotel bedrooms. Also there was an extractor pipe outside the window which was noisy.
