Everything was lovely and fresh with a good range of food. I noticed that fairly small amounts were set out and constantly replenished which is better than lots of food sitting out for a long time. Only negative point was the coffee etc from the self service machine was not great. These machines always seem to confuse people and must lead to a lot of waste. Location was great - just across the road from the Railway Station and a few minutes from two tram lines but also a short walk to the old town centre.

I stayed at ibis Styles Montpellier Centre Comédie for about a week while traveling for work, and I had a great experience. The room was nicely sized, clean, and comfortable — I never felt cramped, even during a longer stay. The location is fantastic, just a block from the city center, which made getting around super easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return the next time I’m in Montpellier.

    Travelled by Train from Beziers to Montpellier, easy access to city. Although did have some disruption due to demonstrations, rail staff provided means to achieve our journey. Central square and around the Halles (Market) great place to eat throughout the day and evening.

    It is a marvellous city- stunningly beautiful with a chill, friendly and confident vibe. People are very kind to people with little spoken French and most speak quite good English. The food is great and prices reasonable. Being able to either walk everywhere or use the frequent, comprehensive trams makes exploration a pleasure. Overall, a truly special place.

    No idee , we had a bad hotel. we had lunch there and there was a protest regarding the Palestine situation ongoing. Not good in this case because of bad timing. But as all France big city's you really have to like the multicultural situation and bad hygiene in France!

    Newly renovated room with mini kitchen, it had only been open for 2 weeks when I visited. If you think about what it costs along the French Riviera on holiday, this was a fantastic option for me. Great garden where you could read a book or have breakfast. Secure parking in the basement, at a reasonable price. Short walk to supermarket which was useful as the area itself is run down and I felt unsafe when it was dark. Some fast food/small local cafes are around but were not my style.

    this is a great underated city. there are several spots for tourism: squares, parks, the buildings are amazing. we visited the city center and there are a lot of businesses for shopping, local products, restaurants and cafes. the prices are not too high compared to the other cities around. the transportation is adecuate so you can explore and get around easily.

    It's a vibrant city.

    It's a vibrant city. I wandered around the old town, which has a lot of stores and restaurants. There are a lot of young people because it's a university town. I especially enjoyed city at a café in the Place de la Comedie and watching the people. I recommend.

    Our visit in Montpellier was great. We have chosen "Grand Hôtel du Midi Montpellier - Opéra Comédie and we were very surprised. It is located in the heart of the city as well as about 800 meters from the train station (what is very convenient when traveling with the trains) room was not large, but very cozy, modern with large vindows where we allowed to enjoy beautiful and sunny days. Also in the evening, we were able to sit at the opened windows, drinking champagne and enjoy wonderful evenings views.

    A lovely little boutique hotel in the centre of Montpellier. The room was large and beautiful, with a big comfortable bed and excellent bedding. The bathroom was also large (though lacking storage), with a spa shower and huge fluffy towels. There were lots of outlets, including by the bed, the air conditioning worked well, and the fridge/honour bar was appreciated. We were able to store our luggage and receive early check-in. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English.

    Great location in the city of Montpellier, we were able to walk to the sites. Easy to find, lots of restaurants nearby. I liked that this was attached to a hotel so there was a front desk team to support us and provide assistance to our requests. One attendant was fluent in English and taught us some French words. The courtyard is nice, my partner and I spent time there. There is a lift on ground floor, so no stairs to take luggage up.

    This Hotel was a big surprise, it felt very welcoing and the rooms were simple but very comfortable, the Restaurant was a huge surprise and we enjoyed a really nice dinner there. Breakfast too was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate staying at this hotel again. It was also very close to Montpellier Centre. Highly recommeneded

    The hotel is easy to find from the motorway and offers basic accommodation with the extra bonus of a pool. It is in a leafy relatively quiet area but some distance outside Montpellier. However, there is a tram terminus within walking distance to avoid having to drive into the busy city. It is a basic budget hotel.
