This was one of our top places in Provence.
This was one of our top places in Provence. Not only is the village in a spectacular setting but it is a very charming place. We hired ebikes for 2 days from ebikesmoustier and had a fabulous time cycling on gravel tracks and small roads around Verdon. It is also a great place to locate yourself as it is not far from the boat/kayak hire on the Verdon Gorge. We visited in October and had fabulous weather. Beautiful town with everything at your fingertips. I didn't visit surrounding places during my visit but there are plenty within easy driving distance. A month later and the lavender fields would have been in full bloom but in May I had great weather, good hikes and less people than in June. May was pretty busy. It’s a stunning place.
It’s a stunning place. I stopped there because I wanted to see its surroundings like the gorge du Verdon. I stayed in in the beginning of December and everything was shut. There was a very few options available to get lunch and and only one place open for dinner.Guest review byMannyItaly - 8.0

Quite a pretty town at the base of very steep cliffs. It is close the Verdon Gorges and has some lovely walks nearby. However it is quite expensive and surprisingly few shops and food options apart from expensive restaurants. The village has a nice location backing onto the mountains. Whilst small there is a nice balance of shop’s bars and restaurants. Walks are nearby and the lack and rivers nearby giving plenty of options. I used it as a base for bikes rides for which it is well positioned. Great spotGuest review byMichaelFrance - 10

Charming farm house with a beautiful garden and view. Friendly staff (family run business). Large rooms very cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was French farm delight - great bread, yogurt, fruit, cheeses and jam and eggs made to your liking. You could also book in advance for them to make dinner. Once you arrive, the parking is a nice extension of grass and trees. The hotel is a 2 story ancient looking building, very charming and eclectic . Staff is very nice. The pool section is pretty and it felt good to refresh from a hot day. Breakfast was also nice (small viennoiseries, coffee, orange juice and yogurt and 2 pieces of fruit).
