Perhaps the best quality/price ratio I've ever had in a hotel. The room is definitely minimal, but there is absolutely everything one actually *needs* for a stopover along a road trip. Spotless clean, quiet, easy to reach from the highway. And you can also reach the center by frequent bus in 20 minutes. The personnel is young and friendly, the breakfast buffet is in line with the rest: simple, but absolutely sufficient. And the price is great.

A gem find, very nice hotel close to the city center (if you have a car). Quiet and well equipped rooms, comforting interior and comfy beds. Staff was also friendly and welcoming. We had a very good stay and perfect sleep in our room. Plus, free parking available.

We stayed one night as a stop on our drive back to Denmark. Great hotel with service minded staff and a lovely breakfast. Definitely have the breakfast if you are staying here. The room was clean and comfortable with cosy lights. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and quiet during the evening. I would definitely recommend and stay here again if I was to visit the beautiful town Nancy.

    An overnight stop on our way further north.

    An overnight stop on our way further north. Fabulous son et lumiere in the main square. A street full over good restaurants to choose from. Stayed at the Hotel Litteraire Stendhal, which was very nicely done and minutes walk from the main square.

    Beautiful architecture and history spanning many centuries and the famous must-see Place Stanislas with daily light show and many cafés. An easy city to walk in with lots of sights, restaurants and nice parks.

    There was much to see and visit.

    There was much to see and visit. Wonderful art nouveau pieces, lovely parks and squares and helpful people. It was very easy to walk around the city, but it was worth getting the city pass that gives entry to various museums and free transport around the city. There were lots of restaurants and different places to eat.

    Several excellent museums (Musée des Beaux-Arts, Musée des Ducs de Lorrain, Daum glassware on Place Stanislas, Art nouveau architecture in many buildings. Many good restaurants (the most iconic are Grand Café Foy and Table du Roi Stanislas) and brasseries.

    Musee des Beaux Arts is great, especially for native son Emile Friant. The Art Nouveau houses - Villa Majorelle and Musee de l"'Ecole de Nancy - are totally worth visiting. We visited two parks - Sainte Marie and Pepiniere - very different and both wonderful. Went into three large churches, all beautiful.

    The hotel is well located in the city center of Nancy, just a few minutes off the main train station. There is a private and secure car park at the back. The hotel is well decorated with a music theme. The room was comfortable, breakfast was good and we even received a complimentary lunch box with small sandwiches and snacks when we checked-out.

    The location is super simple due to its proximity to the railway station in Nancy. You could literally fall off the train and land in this hotel. Staff were always polite & tolerant of my attempted French. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was handy with a good range on offer.
