The Location is excellent. The hotel is brand new, everything smells new and fresh. Rooms are very clean. i love the bed and pillows. Very comfy. Bathrooms spacious and luxurious. I like the Toto WC. The rooms are very spacious. The terrace on the 6th floor has amazing views of the beach and the town. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and high end fashion boutiques are open in the ground floor of the hotel. My only regret I did not have enough time to try the spa facilities but will surely visit again the hotel and try the spa.

    Old Town was wonderful.

    Old Town was wonderful. Watch out for the thieving bar stewards on the tram - We thought we could tap on tap off, but it didn't work. We thought we would get to the end and explain to the ticket collectors and pay the fare. Instead the ticket collectors were fine collectors. 60 euros each fine for a 2 minute tram journey. There were at least 10 English people queuing up to ask for help and all they got was a fine too. I would have resisted and waited for Plod to turn up which is what they were threatening, but i only had 2 days and didn't fancy spending one of those days in a cell;)

    Some people will tell you that the neighboring cities -- Eze...

    Some people will tell you that the neighboring cities -- Eze, Ville Franche, Menton, are better to use as your main hub, but there is not much else to do once you've looked at all the beautiful scenery there. Nice, on the other hand, was full of night life after a long day spent elsewhere and had so much to do as you walked along the Avenue des Anglais. We could go "home" after visiting the other villages, rest up, then go out for a night cap! Getting around was easy -- walk! -- or take the tram, which took you every direction in the city. We treated ourselves to a beautiful seaside lunch at Nissachic, right on the "boardwalk." Highly recommend getting the Pass Sud d'Azur for travelling around. Vieux Nice, where we stayed, was so full of charm and character, with its narrow, winding streets and cafes everywhere! We even ended our trip on the last day at the Irish bar "The Snug," which had open mic night and was just wonderfully fun!

    Beautiful city, very east to take day-trips to nearby cities along the French Riviera. The beach is rocky so make sure to bring sea shoes. Other than that the whole city is gorgeous and filled with great bars and restaurants. A lot of people speak english well so if you can’t speak French it’s no big deal. 3-4 days is enough time to get a good feel of the city.

    I love Nice! End of story. Visit and find out why. Easy train access to other places along the riviera for fun day trips. Old Nice remains an adventure and the market is a fun as ever. Weather was perfect. The Med glitters different shades of blue in sunlight all day long. Sunsets fill the sky with beautiful streaks from pink, purple, orange to fiery red. Our meals were delish and varied from fresh fish, Mexican, Indian, kebab shops, and American style burgers with French fries. Don't get me started on the gelato, pretty much the best in France. Flavors galore and if they will not allow you taste before you buy, move on to the next shop as they will allow you taste a couple flavors so you can choose your perfect combo. Visit and enjoy my favorite place. PS Be nice in Nice.

    Nice is beautiful, and the beaches (pebbles) are amazing. Beach shoes are recommended for walking and swimming. The Old Town is amazing and the promenade is breathtaking. You can walk everywhere. You can also visit Monaco or Cannes from Main Central Station.

    Nice is very busy in September. Great restaurants and bars. The main beach can be treacherous unless you wear footwear. Exploring by foot like any major city can be tiring. Consider buying a tram pass for a few days cheap and easy to use. Always Validate your pass on the tram when you start a trip. Separately a return tram pass from airport to city costs €10 remember to keep it for your return journey to the airport

    This is an amazing location, right on the beach, next to the old town and only a 9 minute walk from the train stop to get to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had our infant son with us and they were very helpful getting the baby chair for breakfast etc. There is a nice selection of food for breakfast, the breakfast room has beautiful views. The L'Occitane products in the bathroom are a lovely touch. We would definitely come back to this hotel again.

    This is a great little hotel on a quiet street a short walk from the sea front, tram and train stations and city centre. The hotel team were very friendly and helpful, providing some great 'insider' tips for our day trip to Monaco. The room was a good size compared to other comparable hotels we have stayed in in France, very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great long weekend. Would highly recommend to other travellers to Nice.

    The staff was amazing. They helped us rent great bicycles, offered complementary beers and were always very helpful. When booking this hotel, I read reviews saying that the breakfast is a bit small. I completely disagree with it. Having travelled quite a bit in France, I can tell you, that the breakfast is awesome! Upon our arrival, we found small gifts. They ended up being the best gifts for our daughter :)
