No breakfast . More honest than the person at Bussiere _Portevine who when we arrived after booking an apartment for 4 nights wanted to put us in a bedroom behind the kitchen in his house. No way .

    Apart from the chateau, built in 1220, being breathtakingly beautiful, its owner, Louis, is the warmly, welcoming, quietly inclusive of hosts one could ever wish for. We have stayed at the chateau three times now and it is always with great regret that we take our leave.
