The hotel is in a great location, very quiet and easily accessible. It also has good parking facilities. The people are lovely with a very warm welcome, very helpful and a pleasure to talk too. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and great quality. Evening meal was very good too. The hotel is in a great location for visiting the region, it is an easy short walk into the centre of town. Also it has a nice pool and outdoor area if you want to just have a relaxing time. I have not hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We always enjoy staying in this magical hotel. Corinne and Jean-Claude are very warm and always there for you. The animals are sweet as sugar. The rooms are tip top and furnished with love. We love breakfast there. The garden is wonderful and was designed with love. For us it is one of the most wonderful places in the world.

    Great little town with a lot more done by its City Hall team...

    Great little town with a lot more done by its City Hall team for its inhabitants than most similarly sized towns in France and even Europe. Very quiet in the non-touristic season (from October to Easter). It can be pretty cold at night in the November-March season too but the sun shines 300 days per year, better than the French Riviera and so much cheaper.

    We stayed in Nyons to break up a longer trip.

    We stayed in Nyons to break up a longer trip. For us, this worked well. But if you are visiting for sightseeing purposes, Nyons can easily be seen in an hour or two. I should note that we were there on a Sunday and Monday and unfortunately most of the village is closed on these two days. On the Sunday night we found that some restaurants were closed, even though online it stated that they were open.

    Authentic French city, just a perfect size.

    Authentic French city, just a perfect size. Cafes, shops and restaurants with an easy access. Lovely distillery for lavendar. Great olives everywhere, also some factory shops. Calm, not noisy. Very nice weekly marker with local products!

    Very interesting city with a medieval quarter. Rich cultural and night life. There is something to see around. Many interesting places. It is a pity that there was little time to enjoy this place longer.

    We stayed in Nyons for a week.. but we were not "exploring"...

    We stayed in Nyons for a week.. but we were not "exploring" Nyons. We decided the town based on the MTB riding in the area (4seasonsbikepark) and then explored the area close to Nyons in all cotes du rhone.. Nyons is really cozy but can feel dead during the week and of course in 1-2 days you saw it all..mostly all.. but you are at 1.15h drive from Nimes, Avignon, Orange, Montelimar (really close), Valence.. cheers tasting all the fantastic secret domaines around !

    Great village to visit and the cave co operative us a great...

    Great village to visit and the cave co operative us a great deal for some some nice wines and treats including cakes, olives and skin care. Also the lavender distillery has some lovely oils and soaps. Had some lovely pastries and cakes from a little shop by the cave.

    The studio is absolutely beautiful with its private courtyard where we ate lots of meals cooked in the well equipped little kitchen. The owners have included lots of extras such as breakfast supplies, oil,vinegar etc, the net over the bed was brilliant to keep out the insects, 2 sets of keys were handy. Communications with Philippe were really easy, street parking very close by was easy too. I highly recommend a stay here in Nyons as a base for visiting Provence. A highlight of our holiday so far.

    This accommodation is absolutely gorgeous; very beautifully decorated and very clean. The hosts provide everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. The location is about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Nyons or a couple of minutes by car. (Really the accommodation is so beautiful that you won't want to leave it). The outdoor area is covered with a canvas and has enough privacy.
