    The property is not in Ploulech - it's actually in the...

    The property is not in Ploulech - it's actually in the smaller village of Le Yaudet, on the coast. There is a créperie, which also offers bread for sale each morning, and a windmill has been renovated, manned by enthusiastic guides. There are some good walks from here along the coast, eg GR34, and it is a very attractive, unspoilt stretch of the Brittany coastline. The small beach looks safe for swimming.

    The Creperie at Le Yaudet is wonderful, as is the hotel in the same place. Check out the beach at the bottom of the hill - an amazing bounty of sea shells, golden sand, glistening streams and super sea access. There is a massive history to dig into - from Bronze-age forts to Roman occupation, a 15th Century church and many quaint cottages and houses. Great walking territory, clean beaches, bracing fresh air. Shhh!! Don't tell everyone - that would spoil it!
