Pont D'Ouilly is a small village but has an excellent range...
Pont D'Ouilly is a small village but has an excellent range of shops such as a boulangerie, boucherie/charcuterie, and a wholefood epicerie. In addition there is a small supermarche and if you're desperate, 2 automatic pizza dispensers! The restaurants weren't open when we there (February) but there are a good range which I presume are open later in the year. The boulangerie is outstanding and their range of patisseries is to die for. As we stayed in a gite, we cooked all our own meals. It is obviously a place where water activities take place but again, not in February. We took bikes and explored the many on and off-road opportunities in the area.
