Loved the 2 distinct characters / medieval upper town, lower town with shopping dining etc - still quite medieval. Easy to walk around but beware - steep walk to upper town. Provins Pass is a good option for seeing points of interest - 17 euros. Includes entry to several monuments which are 5-7 euros for each one, plus reduced prices for others, eg half price for La Roseraie rose garden.Guest review byCarolAustralia - 10.0

A perfectly preserved 12th century walled town, much to see and do, an entire underground city (Souterrains), medieval tower/prison, and just walking around - you are transported back in time. We stayed in the Demure des Vieux Bains Inn - so fabulous!! Had wonderful meals in great restaurants, it was the perfect 2 night trip. The mediaeval town of Provins has literally hundreds of fabulous old properties as well as the star sights of the Church, the Tower and the Walls.
