We chose La Belle Lurette as our base to visit Puy du Fou, which is about a 30–40 minute drive—very manageable. La Belle Lurette was great! The place is beautifully decorated, cosy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Pauline and Quentin were wonderful hosts—such a friendly and welcoming family who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious!! Pauline prepared amazing homemade cakes so we could try local recipes, along with a selection of honey and a variety of fruit juices. We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool—super relaxing!

The house was really comfortable, the private pool was amazing. Overall a nice little place to stay. It is well located and we could do great day-trips to get to know the area.
