What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. Set between the coast and a massive lake it's idyllic. The shops, market, cafe's and restaurants are excellent - so much choice. There's also a lot events going on here - shows, concerts and festivals. We hired a boat to explore the water ways which was excellent fun. Sete is fantastic, so much to see and do.
Sete is fantastic, so much to see and do. We had a great boat trip, visited the Paul Valery Museum which was marvellous. The food market is amazing. Charming. Very holiday vibe.
Charming. Very holiday vibe. Good to go at the time of the jazz festival. Great beaches and charming if minute old town. Wonderful covered market and good food to be found if you do some research. People friendly and easy drive to other places. Do take a boat trip to get a sense of the extent of Sète, and we enjoyed the local bus along the lido to Marseillan. We always love coming to Sete. A great mix of historic town and sandy beaches. The town is friendly and full of great bars and seafood restaurants.
