A very pleasant stop on the famous "Route Nationale 7" mythic French vacation highway. Also easily accessible from the major highway. Tain is a wonderful town, right on the Rhone River, with world-famous vineyards. Check out some of the wine bars operated by the vineyards in the center of town. Wonerful market on Saturday mornings. We had a lovely, bright room with a great view of the River Rhône and Tournon opposite. It was a reasonable size with a contemporary feel and look together with a good shower room. Breakfast was good too, with some tables available on the enclosed terrace overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and helpful.
