A lovely place to stay in the Loire Valley. The house is located in a tiny village and has a stunningly beautiful garden. Within just an 8-minute drive, you reach the nearest town with excellent restaurants and a château. The room was huge and decorated to our taste, and breakfast was a classic French one (baguette, cheese, jams, butter, croissant, and crêpe). We received recommendations from Thierry and Catherine about a château, which was breathtakingly beautiful.

    We stayed three weeks and could have stayed longer it was so lovely. We liked the peacefulness of the area and the nature that surrounded us. But we also liked that we could get in the car and be at most sights within the hour. But there are so many lovely little villages in this area that you can pick and choose depending on how much nightlife, shopping etc you want. If you are looking for more of a small town experience St. Aignan is really nice or Amboise. For the city folk - Blois or Tours are midsize cities with great character and all the facilities. The Loire Valley is beautiful and has something for everybody - history, art, precious little towns, vineyards, caves, nature and tons of stuff for kids including a great zoo.
