The location was stunning, host was lovely. Cannot fault this cottage. Child friendly and very well equipped. I didn't mind paying a little more for linen. We had total privacy and were incredibly safe.

A very warm welcome from the owner. The rooms were spotlessly clean and dogs were allowed which was a huge bonus for us ( my two mini dogs sleep in a cage). Situated very close to Avranches so it was a perfect location for visiting the area.

Amazingly friendly hosts. Felt more like friends rather than our hosts. Would strongly advise having an evening meal, should be 'Michelin rated' the food was that good. Had a great evening drone flying! Will be back, just need an excuse.

We had the downstairs room. Very comfortable generally and very spacious shower of wet room quality. Could be used by wheelchair user easily. Madame was very hospitable and helpful. Had we known, we could have done self catering rather than going out for a meal (about 5 miles to nearest eating place)

We've been coming here for about 10 years now, and it never disappoints. We first came to the restaurant (whatever you do, have dinner there!!!), which is reason enough to come back and stay at the hotel too. The superior rooms are wonderful, with a huge bed (we're both tall and still almost lost each other!), the bathroom has a great shower and bath, and there is a separate toilet. The garden is full of flowers and is so relaxing to sit in after dinner or just in the afternoon, to read a book. Location is convenient, an easy trip to Mont St Michel, or to Granville, from where you can do a trip to the Channel islands, but honestly I'd keep coming here if it was in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of private parking space

Very beautiful property. We stayed there after our visit to Mont St Michel. They have very nice restaurant on the property and a beautiful garden. Breakfast was excellent. The only thing is that they don’t t have an elevator so you will need to carry your suitcase if you are not on a ground floor.

The lady who runs this place is so nice! I became ill and she came to the room and translated with medical personnel on the phone - very compassionate. The rooms are spacious and clean and decorated with a touch of class. Highly recommended!

    For us it was a convenient overnight stay not too far from Cherbourg for an evening ferry and allowing plenty of time for last minute shopping. Wine stockist recommended by Madame had an excellent stock and spoke good English.

    We were visiting my niece over the weekend, so wanted somewhere for the family to stay that was close to Avranches in Normandy. The accommodation was very clean and well decorated, but the big wow factor was the location - at the end of a quiet lane in the middle of a wood. When we woke in the morning, all we could hear were the birds in the trees. The owners were also very friendly and accomodating. When we messaged to say that we would be arriving later than expected, nothing was too much trouble.
