Troyes is a beautiful example of a town packed full of half-timbered medieval houses everywhere you look. And so many churches and a beautiful cathedral. It's well worth a visit and specifically look out for the stained glass windows and we would recommend a visit to the Cite du Vitrail which is a fabulous museum about stained glass and apothecaries. Good location, within a short walk of the old centre of the city. Modern hotel with good sized rooms, especially the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. Safe, underground parking is available as is on-site electric vehicle charging at a reasonable cost. The old town of Troyes is very phogenic with many very old buildings - almost liks London in 1666! There are many restaurants offering excellent food.
