Very good location for access to the motorway, town center and train station. The hosts are friendly and helpful even though we didn’t speak their language. Good variety for breakfast. Room spacious and clean. Secure parking.

This place is very special, situated in the lovely elevated village of Fanjeaux, it is a superbly designed suite of rooms with a stunning view for miles across the countryside as far as the Black Mountains. With its own private entrance, the first room in the suite is a spacious conservatory with cosy seats, beautiful plants, decor with books and even painting and sketching materials thoughtfully provided for guests. From here a door leads into very attractive mini-kitchen/dining room that looks out across the stunning view, with coffee-machine, fridge, microwave and little butler sink complete with a dresser filled with beautiful pottery and glassware. The next room with the same breathtaking view is the super comfortable bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The hosts have put so much care into making people welcome here and are very kind and responsive while giving guests perfect privacy in a peaceful space.

Jakob and Eefje were absolutely brilliant. They went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We stayed in the studio which was perfect - very comfortable and clean. The setting was incredible surrounded by countryside and vineyards. We had the gastronomic experience that Jakob prepared for us- the food was outstanding and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone staying. It’s amazing to see what they’ve done to the place over the years and we’ll definitely be returning!

Great friendly hosts. The accommodation is renovated to a high standard. Ideal for cycling Canal Du Midi. Secure place for our bicycles. We particularly loved the breakfast basket which we enjoyed sitting by the canal. Would highly recommend.

An excellent location in a rustic but lively village. The pool was very welcoming on a hot afternoon, providing a fantastic view over the Aude countryside. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for refreshments and meals.
