The staff is very kind, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We highly appreciated that they could accomodate our dietary needs as well. The hotel is very comfortable, and the view was lovely.

We spent a weekend in Chalet le logis des autre. This chalet has an amazing view next to the river. The owner was really kind and she recommended some nice places for us to visit around the village. The rooms were very clean, and the whole chalet is very well equipped (bathroom - & kitchen facilities, TV, Wi-Fi etc.) It was a great place to stay for the weekend.

This hotel is closed. If you book here you will actually stay at Hotel Val St Hilaire - which sells for 15 euro less on booking .com This is clearly not a new arrangement, and I think it is quite cheeky to not announce the changed address ( or acknowledge the price difference) however hotel Val St Hilaire was perfectly pleasant

Superb clean apartment with everything you could need.it was immaculate and smart. Parking outside on the gravel driveway. Minimarket just round the corner ideal for supplies. Highly recommended.

    Vireux-Wallerand was a beautiful town situated on a gorgeous river where there are plenty of walks available. It is a great base to travel all around the Ardennes region be it France or Belgium. Givet is just up the road where Fort de Charlemont is situated and well worth a visit.

    Lovely little village on the river. Very peaceful.

    Lovely little village on the river. Very peaceful. Friendly locals. Had a great experience at C'Taky bowling bar, karaoke night was fab! The local Friterie du rivage was great for a kebab! Lovely walk to the Camp Romain, fantastic views. An equally lovely walk to Hierges (or you can drive), very picturesque medieval village. Loads to do nearby, Terrealtitude was great for the teens! Spent a whole day there, was brilliant. Grottes de Neptune also great. Dinant in Belgium. Day trip to Luxembourg. Excellent swimming pool with slides in Givet.
